A. Bright Idea Advertising and Public Relations in Bel Air announced the addition of three communications professionals. The recent hires, including Kelly Holmes as senior communications specialist, Cari Ashkin as communications specialist and Emily Hennegan as graphic design specialist, will support a mix of government, commercial, private and nonprofit clients.

Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. in Hunt Valley (Nasdaq: SBGI) announced that Scott Ehrlich has joined as Vice President of Emerging Platform Content. The announcement was made by Chris Ripley, president and chief executive officer of Sinclair Broadcast Group. Ehrlich has spent three decades in the media business in roles spanning licensing, production, creative development, technology, network management and programming. He’s served as Executive Producer for award winning digital series including The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers (Paramount/Hulu) and Two Bellmen (Marriott Content Studio), as well as licensing content to and from digital and traditional platforms.Earlier in his career Ehrlich served in executive roles at NBC Cable (CNBC), News Corporation (News America Digital Publishing and Fox News Channel) and Real Networks (RealOne SuperPass).

Warschawski is a national finalist for “U.S. Small Firm of the Year” by PR News. In a release, Warschawski said it was selected from a national pool of applicants based on creativity, ingenuity and “bottom-line efficacy” of its integrated marketing campaigns, consistent year-over-year client growth and retention, and award-winning workplace culture. The winner will be announced at an awards luncheon on September 14th in New York City.

He will speak on  “How Virtual Visits and Virtual Reality Are Changing Healthcare.” Also, the startup roommate matching app Homies, co-founded by Win Warfield, has partnered with Mindgrub to create a mobile app that allows users to take a matching quiz to identify what they are looking for in a roommate.
