Michael Fleischer has been named president and general manager of D.C.-based Direct Impact after serving as interim leader since April. He will continue to oversee DI’s client accounts and business development.

Fleischer has been with DI since the beginning of 2012, joining the firm with more than 20 years of experience in government and public affairs. He specializes in legislative and regulatory communications, having expertise designing and implementing advocacy campaigns at the federal and state level.
