Mike Hartnett launches marketing firm; news from Flywheel Digital and Strategic Factory

Hartnett Marketing & Communications has launched under the leadership of Mike Hartnett, who, states a release, has “a track record of success in the Greater Baltimore region. The new firm will provide strategic marketing, branding, and communications services to healthcare, nonprofit, and community-focused organizations in Maryland and beyond.”
Before starting the firm, adds the release, Hartnett held senior marketing roles at MedStar Health, where he led campaigns that strengthened community engagement “and elevated the health system’s visibility across the Baltimore-Washington corridor. His leadership was instrumental in advancing patient-centered initiatives and digital transformation efforts that expanded MedStar’s regional reach and impact.”
Earlier in his career, Hartnett served at Greater Baltimore Medical Center, where he helped shape GBMC’s brand identity and enhance its reputation for clinical excellence and community service.
Baltimore-based Flywheel Digital, a part of Omnicom, announced the launch of its Return on Consumer Dashboard, a new analytics product, that leverages Amazon’s unique shopping, streaming, and browsing signals to help brands measure, benchmark and forecast the long-term value of their customers on Amazon. According to a release, the dashboard provides a comprehensive view of the shopper journey from discovery to loyalty, enabling brands to quantify the impact of every interaction and make smarter, full-funnel investment decisions.
“Maximizing advertising impact ultimately comes down to brands reaching the right consumers, with the right message, at the right time in their purchasing journey,” said Flywheel Chief Product and Technology Officer Oliver Masting. “Our new Return on Consumer Dashboard represents a shift in helping brands evolve beyond campaign metrics to focus squarely on consumers. They can now see exactly how many shoppers are in each stage of their funnel, engage them with relevant messaging and measure their true long-term value.”
Owings Mills based Strategic Factory announced the firm is growing its footprint in professional sports with the addition of the Jacksonville Jaguars to its roster. The Jaguars join the Baltimore Ravens, Washington Commanders, Washington Capitals and Washington Wizards as Strategic Factory partners.
Strategic Factory offers printing, signage, branded apparel, promotional products, direct mail and marketing solutions from concept to installation all under one roof. The “one-stop” capabilities have proven to be an attractive option for clients in professional sports and other business organizations.
“I am so proud of the work that our team does for our partners and high-profile sports clients like these allow us to demonstrate the breadth of our capabilities to businesses and organizations of all sizes,” said Keith Miller, president & CEO.
