MoCo360 Digital Newsroom Renamed Bethesda Today

Today Media, publisher of Bethesda Magazine, announced that the MoCo360 digital newsroom has been renamed Bethesda Today.
The company also unveiled a new website and redesigned newsletters.
The newsroom was launched in 2014 as Bethesda Beat and rebranded as MoCo360 by new ownership in 2023. According to a release, Today Media bought the magazine and news service in 2024, and CEO Rob Martinelli, after getting to know the business and community, concluded that rebranding the newsroom made sense.
“Having ‘Bethesda’ in the name was important because it reconnects the newsroom to its roots and strengthens ties to Bethesda Magazine,” he said.
While the name of the newsroom has changed, the company’s “commitment to covering all of Montgomery County has not,” said Jennifer Farkas, publisher of Bethesda Magazine and Bethesda Today. “The tagline for Bethesda Today says it all: ‘Montgomery County’s Trusted News Source.’”
The new website and redesigned newsletters “have a cleaner, more modern layout that simplifies navigation, improves readability and enhances the overall reader experience,” she said.
In addition, the address for the website has changed from MoCo360.media to BethesdaMagazine.com.
