IAB forecasts the podcast industry will exceed $4B by 2024. As podcasts continue to gain popularity with PR pros, the ability to have the information upfront to determine if it’s a fit for your organization has never been more important. Muck Rack’s 2021 State of Podcasting survey found podcasters’ most common complaint was the lack of personalized pitches, with 90% saying they strongly prefer that PR pros research their brand and content before pitching them.
On September 13, Muck Rack announced the expansion of its existing podcast function to showcase episodes dating back to the beginning of a podcast’s RSS feed. Launching with 35 million episodes and nearly 19K verified podcasters, Muck Rack reports it will now house everything you need to know about a podcast, all without ever having to leave the platform.
Muck Rack adds that it continues to become a destination for podcast metrics and information and is focused on iterating its product to make it easier to find and pitch the right podcasters.
