The National Press Club in Washington, D.C., is extending the suspension of its event operations through at least April 27, 2020.
NPC stated: “Our staff will continue working remotely to assist clients with details of past and future bookings via email and phone. Clients should see little impact on how they are able to work with Press Club staff to plan future events. You may continue to contact our team members directly, or via the Event Services section of our website.
“During this time, the National Press Club continues to offer our multimedia production studio/services to assist companies and organizations with “virtual” events like webcasts, video conferencing and other programming to help them reach audiences online that they would normally do via a live event (educational seminars, media briefings, interviews, panel discussions, etc.). To learn more about the benefits and options for conducting a virtual event, please visit our Live, Virtual & Hybrid Events web page or contact our Events Team at 202-662-7587 or events@press.org.
Additionally, through the National Press Club’s preferred partnership with global news distribution service PR Newswire (www.prnewswire.com), we can help you communicate timely news and information to the media and online communities about your organization’s activities. For details and options, please contact our Events Team.
“Please know we stand ready to help you in every way we can. Our current plan to resume full live event operations by April 28, 2020, though we will continue to monitor the situation and reassess this plan as necessary and appropriate. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through these unusual circumstances, and we look forward to working with you again soon.”
