Nick Iannelli named WTOP’s evening anchor
Nick Iannelli has been named the evening anchor at WTOP.
In a social media post, Iannelli wrote: “You can find me anchoring each evening now on WTOP,”
According to Iannelli, he’s “excited “for this new chapter at the station. This shift, of course, will always belong to our dear friend Dimitri Sotis. I’ll just be trying my best.”
Iannelli replaces Sotis, who passed away unexpectedly in January at age 55.
According to Barrett Media, Iannelli joined WTOP in 2013. He previously was a news anchor and reporter at WTMJ in Milwaukee.
