Nik Khilnani rises to Senior VP of Product and Audience Technology at D.C.-based NPR. Khilnani, who was most recently NPR’s VP of Audience Technology and VP of Engineering, will now oversee the public radio network’s Product, Design, and Audience Technology teams, reports Inside Radio.
“Nik has done tremendous work leading our engineering department in the past year and providing vision as well as guidance, we are lucky to have him on our team and partnering with our Member stations to better serve our audiences,” President/CEO John Lansing said in a release.
Khilnani, who joined NPR in 2021, has more than 20 years of technical and engineering experience. He previously served as VP of Engineering at Lurn, Inc., Senior Director of Platform Engineering at the Walt Disney Co., and has held digital roles at National Geographic Partners, and Gannett Digital.
