Ogilvy announced that Bob Poulin is joining its D.C. office to lead the agency’s Government Practice as Managing Director and Chief Growth Officer. According to a release, Poulin “brings over 20 years of executive experience working across government and commercial sectors. In his new role, Bob will be responsible for overall management of the Government practice including providing senior-level counsel to Ogilvy’s federal and state clients, identifying new areas for growth and impact, and increasing its visibility within the market.”

Throughout his career, continued the release, Poulin has worked “at the intersection of strategy, data, and technology to drive growth strategies for $50M+ business units of public marketing agencies. Previously, Bob served as President of Havas Helia, the Data, Analytics, CRM and Customer Insight business unit of Havas Worldwide. There he focused on driving results through a focus on customer experience and citizen engagement, marketing technology, human-centered design, data and analytics and other service areas. Bob is an award-winning leader who has been recognized for his work developing government technology innovations. He ran a large Innovation Lab for AEEC focused on developing new technologies for government clients and helped develop an award-winning AI/NLP software solution for several large government agencies at agencyQ. He has also held senior leadership roles at evox, AKQA, and Magnet Interactive.”
