On the Move in D.C.: Anna Bager, Roland Varesko and Tom Cochran

The Out of Home Advertising Association of America (OAAA) named Anna Bager, Executive Vice President of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), as its new President & CEO. During her more than eight-year tenure at IAB, Bager, pictured above, led all digital, mobile, video, and data industry initiatives representing more than 650 member companies, including megabrands like Google, Facebook, Amazon, Disney, and Microsoft. OAAA is the national trade association that represents the $8+ billion US out of home (OOH) advertising industry

The National Association of Realtors® reports that Roland Varesko has become NAR’s vice president of digital strategy. According to NAR, Varesko will develop and deliver NAR’s digital presence and user experience across all digital touchpoints and platforms. Varesko has developed digital marketing strategies for national brands with divisions in more than 30 market areas. His work has won numerous awards for best-in-class digital marketing campaigns, websites, apps, and touchscreen kiosks. Prior to joining NAR, Varesko was President of Ecendant Interactive where he specialized in strategic solutions for clients in various industries, from tech, real estate, architecture, medical and legal, to food and wine.

720 Strategies announced that Obama administration digital leader Tom Cochran rejoined the firm as partner and chief growth officer. According to a release, Cochran spent over four years in the Obama administration, leading the technology team behind the White House’s groundbreaking “We the People” petition platform and transforming the global digital infrastructure for U.S. embassies overseas.
