OUTFRAME 2020 Open for Submissions through September

by | Sep 15, 2020

OUTFRAME 2020 is open for submissions through the month of September. This year’s theme is “OUT OF LOVE.” According to the organizers, you may design something out of love “because you are passionate about it. It could be a cause, a movement or a person. Conversely, maybe you are all OUT of love, frustrated by the status quo and feeling like enough is enough.”

The organizers are asking artists to design their interpretations of the OUT OF LOVE theme for a billboard. Specifically, horizontal orientation at a 16:9 ratio, with a minimum of 1920w x 1080 h.

The prize? Your art on digital billboards across America in November, immediately following the presidential election. Plus, because the organizers state they “believe in the power of our medium and the power of good, we will donate a one-month digital OOH campaign to the charity of the winner’s choice.”

This year, the judges are:

  • Peter Tunney, Artist, The Peter Tunney Studio
  • Ray Smiling, Creative Director, Johannes Leonardo
  • Ryan Artell, Art Director, 160over90, OUTFRAME 2019 Winner
  • Anne Di Lillo, Design Director, Selman
  • Matthew Ryan Herget “Mr Herget,” Street Artist
  • Chris “Daze” Ellis, Street Artist
  • Wilfredo “Bio” Feliciano, Street Artist
  • Tim Wasicki, East Region Creative Director, OUTFRONT Media
