Parties for Those Who Want to Party on Election Night

by | Nov 4, 2016

Capitol Communicator has been asked if we know of election night parties you can go to on Tuesday, Nov. 8, and here’s information on a few we are aware of:

  • PredictIt and Aristotle are throwing an election night party at 205 Pennsylvania Ave., SE,  Washington, DC;
  • A VIP tour of the American Presidential Election for international political professionals. This series of events will feature a Welcome to Washington party, attend rallies and see campaigns in the swing state of Virginia, be part of briefings with journalists and political consultants, and then attend an Election Night party in D.C. (Note: This event starts Friday, Nov. 4.)
  • Georgetown University’s Politics Election Returns Watch Party in the Healey Family Student Center Great Room. (Note that hundreds of Georgetown students are expected to participate throughout the day in events, culminating in an elections returns watch party, complete with balloon drop and a run to the White House after the election is called.); and,
  • The Washington Post has a listing of election night parties.
