Photographer/Director Eli Meir Kaplan collaborated with New York creative video agency Filmkraft to create a documentary-style Valentine’s Day campaign for renown flowery delivery service 1-800-Flowers. Working with real couples allowed Kaplan and the team to create authentic, seemingly intimate and unplanned moments of the twosomes enjoying 1-800-Flowers’ Valentine’s Day products.

According to a release, D.C.-based Kaplan’s partnership with Filmkraft “was a seamless process. While the Filmkraft team meticulously curated the location, props, and wardrobe, Kaplan directed the talent with a documentarian’s sensibility. The result is a library of images and video that feels both relatable and heartfelt. From the delight of receiving a bouquet to the delightful moments of enjoying 1-800-Flowers special Valentine’s gifts, the campaign captures the essence of love and appreciation.

“By prioritizing natural moments and genuine human connection, Kaplan and the team succeeded in crafting a Valentine’s Day campaign rooted in success. Through their collaboration, they have delivered a poignant reminder of the power of love and the importance of cherishing meaningful moments with those we hold dear.”
