PlowShare Group, one of the largest producers of public service advertising in the United States, adds Gina Cicatelli Ciagne and Lindsey Swanson.

Gina Cicatelli Ciagne was named Senior Campaign Director and is working on the CDC’s Tips From Former Smokers campaign, the nation’s highly successful tobacco cessation campaign.

A senior communications and marketing executive, she has over 20 years of brand building, cause-related marketing, and health and wellness advocacy experience. She has extensive expertise in developing impactful global B2B and B2C marketing, communications, public service campaigns and new product innovation gained working in government, international development and private sector arenas.

Ciagne shepherded a national public service health awareness campaign at Health and Human Services, worked in international development communications at the World Bank, and spent over a decade as head of Healthcare Marketing as well as corporate spokeswoman at global breastfeeding accessories company, Lansinoh, headquartered in Alexandria, VA.  She acted as senior in-house technical expert and educator guiding and supporting the new product innovation team, senior management, and global marketing teams; as well as engaging and interacting with thousands of mothers, healthcare providers and retailers.  Ciagne has testified in state house assemblies with her expertise and held speaking engagements around the world.

Ciagne holds a B.A from the University of Dayton and holds a M.S.A in Public and Community Health from Trinity University (DC).

Lindsey Swanson joined PlowShare Group as Associate Campaign Director. Swanson was most recently Senior Marketing Manager at Gravitate Solutions, a software development firm in Alexandria, VA. Swanson is a creative marketing professional with over a decade of experience working with non-profit, for-profit, and association clients. She has a broad-based background in digital media, social media, marketing strategy, graphic design, website design, and project management. Prior to her time with Gravitate Solutions she worked in the marketing departments at the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Association for Talent Development (ATD).

As a lifelong Alexandrian, Swanson is highly engaged in her community. In her free time she serves as the executive director of the Kelley Cares Foundation, her family’s charity that supports people of all ages with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She also serves as the chair of the Miracle League of Alexandria, is volunteer chair for Alexandria’s regional arts festival Art on the Avenue, and formerly served on the Alexandria Parks & Recreation Commission and Scholarship Fund of Alexandria Gala Committee. Swanson has been recognized for her community service work as an 2017 Alexandria Chamber of Commerce 40 Under 40 Award Winner, 2017 City of Alexandria Champion of Children Award Winner, 2013 Senior Services of Alexandria’s Generation to Generation Award Winner, 2011 Alexandria Sportsman’s Club Civic Award Winner and an 2008 Living Legends of Alexandria Nominee.
