The Washington Post Opinions section is now accepting applications for “Post Grad”, an inaugural program launched in collaboration with Next Gen, The Post’s initiative aimed at cultivating younger and more diverse audiences. Over the course of the summer, the “Post Grad” hire will chronicle the unique challenges and opportunities graduates face as they begin their post-college lives.
The “Post Grad” intern does not need to be a traditionally trained journalist and will have the opportunity to work with Opinion editors to hone their voice, so their stories reach the broadest possible audiences. In addition to their writing, the intern will cultivate community with their peers on social media platforms and produce work in a variety of storytelling formats, including audio and video.
