Propel, a PR management (PRM) technology company, has announced the launch of Amiga, the first AI assistant for PR professionals. Amiga, short for “Artificial Media Intelligence Generator and Assistant,” aims to address the pain points of researching media targets, building media lists, writing pitches and press releases. The AI assistant has been trained using a dataset of over five million real pitches and press releases sent via Propel’s Gmail and Outlook plugins, information on over a million journalists, as well as hundreds of millions of articles.
Amiga offers advanced research and writing capabilities, including generating pitches and press releases in seconds, which can save comms professionals up to 90% of their time. In addition, it will soon include the ability to automatically create media lists with only the most relevant journalists for a pitch topic, and to incorporate pitch optimization data for hundreds of thousands of journalists.
