PRSA Richmond Accepting Entries for the 71st Annual Virginia Public Relations Awards
The Richmond Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America is accepting entries for the 71st annual Virginia Public Relations Awards.
Each year, PRSA Richmond recognizes outstanding public relations professionals and their work at the Virginia Public Relations Awards. Over its 71-year history, the chapter’s awards program has recognized the most creative and effective communications strategies and tactics happening across Virginia.
The Commonwealth Award recognizes exceptional public relations programs or campaigns, and the Capital Award recognizes outstanding public relations tactics. Awards of excellence and merit are given in both categories. Tactics and campaigns produced in part between January 1 and December 31 of the calendar year preceding the awards ceremony are eligible to be submitted.
Following a review by a committee of chapter members, the Capital awards (tactics) categories were updated to reflect current trends and practices in the industry. You’ll find new categories in Media Relations, as well as Social Media, Influencer Programs and more. Entries can be submitted via the PRSA Richmond website.
The 71th Virginia Public Relations Awards will be presented Thursday, May 24, at The Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, VA.
The award deadlines are:
Early deadline: February 26
Final deadline: March 5
