Richmond Agency Updates: Elevation and NDP

‘Grow your options. Change your world.’ is the tagline by Elevation, the lead strategic advertising agency for Smithfield Foods’ Pure Farmland brand, in the campaign launch of a new, plant-based portfolio of meat alternatives featuring eight products that cater to flexitarians: consumers who prefer to eat less meat. Elevation developed the new product line’s marketing strategy and website, along with print, outdoor, digital banners, advertisements on social media and point-of-sale collateral to accompany the nationwide debut of Pure Farmland.

Elevation also announced that four of its team have been promoted to leadership positions:

– C.J. Hawn now is creative director after serving as an associate creative director for the past eight years.
-Hunter Knierem and Kim Moore have been promoted to account directors. Knierem joined Elevation in 2015 and was most recently a senior account manager. Moore was formerly a senior account manager and has been with Elevation more than a decade.
Carol Williams has been promoted to director of account planning.

NDP, a full-service advertising and marketing agency headquartered in Richmond, has been selected to handle comprehensive agency services on several traffic safety campaigns developed by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles.  The scope of the account relationship includes such services as creative development, strategic media planning and buying, public relations/media relations and pre- or post-campaign evaluation on five statewide DMV initiatives to promote traffic safety:
Checkpoint Strikeforce – a campaign aimed at preventing drunk-driving;
Motorcycle Safety – a campaign that encourages riders to be safe and get properly trained on riding and operating a motorcycle;
Motorists’ Awareness of Motorcycles – a campaign that reminds motorists to safely share the road with motorcycles by looking twice for them;
Click It or Ticket – a seat belt safety campaign; and,
Local Heroes Seat Belt Awareness Initiative – a campaign that partners with local law enforcement agencies to convince people to buckle up.
