Richmond’s Tilt Creative + Production acquires RainMaker Studios

Richmond’s Tilt Creative + Production acquired audio production company RainMaker Studios to enhance in-house capabilities, expand service offerings and, states a release, further establish Richmond as a creative production hub.

Full- and part-time RainMaker employees are retained as part of the ownership agreement, including, adds the release, its deep bench of sound engineers, designers, composers, musicians and producers. RainMaker will preserve its name while Kristin O’Connor, former president of Rainmaker Studios, will assume a new role in business development as a senior consultant.

“At RainMaker, we just get it right, and we continue refining ourselves and our craft thanks to our tremendously talented creative and technical teams,” O’Connor said.

“Our commitment to excellence and innovation has always been at the core of our success. By joining forces with Tilt Creative + Production, we are poised to take our capabilities to new heights. There is no better industry partner with whom to join than Tilt. Their reputation for exceptional quality and forward-thinking aligns perfectly with our values. I look forward to a bright future of client service with our industry-leading teams and seamless integration across audio and visual media. Together, we will set new standards and deliver unparalleled results for our clients.”

“We’ve admired the RainMaker team for years and have immense respect for their work,” said Ron Carey, founder and CEO of Tilt Creative + Production.

“This acquisition not only broadens our service offerings but also significantly enhances our ability to meet the ever-evolving content needs of our clients with greater efficiency and effectiveness. With this new partnership, we are also thrilled to further establish Richmond as a vibrant creative hub, fostering innovation and attracting top talent to our community.”
