Elizabeth Shea has been named president of REQ. According to a release, “Elizabeth came to REQ through the 2019 acquisition of SpeakerBox Communications, the firm she founded and ran for more than 20 years. Well known in the D.C. technology and business community, she earned many accolades for her growing business, including as a Washington Business Journal Women Who Mean Business and a Washingtonian Tech Titan. Elizabeth will lead the REQ team through its next phase of growth and an eventual rebrand to Agital in 2024.” Agital acquired REQ in July 2023.

Shea said the acquisition by Agital “marked a pivotal point in the company’s trajectory, and we applaud Agital’s focus on building a world-class marketing organization with REQ as a tentpole partner. I strongly believe in the future success of the company and am honored to lead such an experienced team.”

“When we acquired REQ, we saw an opportunity to work with some of the biggest and best brands in the world,” added Jeff Reynolds, CEO of Agital. “Elizabeth’s leadership in growing her line of business as well as providing strategic direction for REQ makes her the natural successor for this role. She will also contribute in a greater role as a member of Agital’s leadership team.

D.C.-based REQ also has offices in Las Vegas and San Diego.
