Anyone who has been involved or worked with PRSA-NCC during the past 30 years either knows or has worked with Sherri Core, its executive director, third from right in photo, who is retiring from the chapter at the end of the year.
To mark the occasion and to celebrate her career with the chapter, some of the past presidents, current board members and close friends (shown above) gathered to pay tribute to her and thank her for her years of service.
In addition, the chapter posted a tribute to Core that stated: “Sherri has a wonderful, sarcastic sense of humor, loves the Ohio State Buckeyes and is fiercely loyal to her friends – many of whom are among the current leadership of PRSA-NCC. Past and current officers of the chapter gathered to share their stories of working with Sherri over the past three decades and offer her wishes for her retirement.
“A sparkling apple cider toast offered party attendees the opportunity to share their best memories of working with Sherri during their tenure with PRSA. Every story shared had one common theme: “I couldn’t have done it without Sherri.”
“We will miss Sherri and her invaluable counsel to our chapter. Wishing her all the best in retirement!”
