MGH in Owings Mills announced that Smyth Jewelers, the largest jeweler in Maryland, has selected MGH as its agency of record. The agency will provide a wide range of services, including traditional and digital advertising and social media management.

The jeweler and agency previously worked together for more than a decade, during which, created one of the most iconic campaigns and billboards in Baltimore with Mr. Boh proposing to the Little Utz Girl. While the billboard – which was located by Penn Station and could be seen from the highway –  no longer exists, this famous pairing has become synonymous with the image of Baltimore and lives on in the form of tattoos, Halloween costumes, wedding cake toppers and T-shirts to name a few.

“We are thrilled to welcome Smyth Jewelers back to the MGH family. We have a longstanding history of working together to create campaigns that not only caught people’s attention, but also drove sales,” commented MGH CEO Andy Malis. “We look forward to forging a new chapter in our partnership and reigniting Maryland’s love for Smyth.”

Smyth had been with TBC between stints with MGH.
