Storyfarm, a Baltimore-based award-winning production and creative agency developing and executing video campaigns for clients across the country, announced that Andrew Fetchko has been named Chief Creative Officer.  Fetchko will oversee Storyfarm’s team of in-house creative directors, designers, animators, cinematographers, compositors, editors and producers, and will serve as the primary creative force behind all of Storyfarm’s projects and content. Fetchko joined Storyfarm in August 2018.

“Andrew is already taking Storyfarm to the next level.  He adds deep technical and industry expertise to all of our creative endeavors, delivering significant contributions at every step of the production process,” said John Sherman, CEO of Storyfarm.  “He has the rare ability to understand how to manage any position in the company, whether it’s creative concepting and strategy, supervising visual effects and animation or guiding business development.  Andrew’s presence on the team is already providing tremendous benefits to Storyfarm and great value to our clients.”

Prior to joining Storyfarm, Fetchko served as Creative Director of Video and In-House Director for HZDG, where he worked with a wide range of clients, including Hilton Hotels, Volkswagen, and the Consumer Technology Association, which hosts The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) each year in Las Vegas.  Before his time at HZDG, Fetchko founded and managed BURNº, an award-winning production and visual effects company creating story-driven commercial production for broadcast, theatrical and digital distribution for clients including the United States Postal Service, Sony, and DC Lottery.  BURNº was acquired by HZDG in 2015.  Fetchko is an award-winning Creative Director, Commercial Director and VFX Supervisor whose credits include broadcast programming, corporate image films, installations and broadcast television commercials.

“Having worked in film production for more nearly 20 years, it became clear to me very quickly that Storyfarm is the place I want to be,” said Fetchko. “Storyfarm is perfectly positioned to adapt and be successful as the industry grows and changes.  The company’s positive and inclusive creative culture, as well as its diverse roster of clients were also major factors that made me want to be part of Storyfarm.”

Fast approaching its 10th Anniversary, Storyfarm, a Capitol Communicator sponsor, is a hybrid video agency; an innovative blend of high-end film production company backed up by the creative and strategic firepower of an ad agency. Storyfarm creates live action, fully animated, VFX and experiential content for brands including Exxon-Mobil, McDonalds, Uber and Mastercard as well as regional and national agencies including LMD, Ogilvy, Edelman and Dentsu. For more information about Storyfarm, please visit www.storyfarm.com
