– Groove, a Baltimore-based creative marketing, web design and development agency, added Annie Armiger as a multimedia specialist and Carissa McStay as a paid advertising specialist. Armiger joins from Oomph Marketing and McStay previously worked as an associate manager, paid search for The Search Agency.
– Annapolis-based Weitzman has been selected as agency of record for Scarborough Capital Management, also in Annapolis. The agency will direct brand strategy, creative messaging and media planning/buying for the financial advisory services firm.
– Medifast in Owings Mills announced the appointment of Kenneth Kopp as vice president of Medifast Direct. Kopp will direct overall sales and profits of Medifast’s direct response channel, including web and marketing content strategy, promotional campaign development and customer journey management. Previously, he served as founder and vice president of marketing for Matrix Media Consulting in Los Angeles.
– Baltimore magazine added Craig Forbes as web graphic designer; Maggie Church as a marketing and special events manager; and Marie Bashoff is associate art director. On the editorial side, Lydia Woolever joins as associate editor and Jane Marion is the new food and travel editor.
– Will Burns joined The O’Ferrall Group in Hanover as marketing & communications director. Burns joins the association management, public relations and communications firm from the Maryland Chamber of Commerce where he was communications director for 13 years.
-Dulaney Farkas joined Silberstein Insurance Group in Lutherville as marketing director. She previously served as marketing director at Hertzbach & Company in Owings Mills.
