The Washington Post has hired Perrin Lawrence as head of the newly formed brand marketing division. Lawrence will lead a team that will create and execute brand marketing campaigns, ranging from large, national and global branding campaigns to ongoing marketing of The Post’s people and products. She will also oversee a multi-disciplined creative team, which will design all consumer-facing messaging for The Post. Lawrence will report to The Washington Post’s Chief Communications Officer, Kristine Coratti Kelly.

Lawrence previously helped The New York Times transition into a consumer-first, digital subscription business over five years, working across its marketing team and newsrooms in New York and London.
