WaPo announces largest team to cover the White House in The Post’s history

The Washington Post announced its new White House team which, states The Post, “will pursue its mission of covering the incoming Trump administration with rigor, ambition and independence.”
The team, eight reporters and two editors, is, continues The Post, “the largest to cover the White House in Washington Post history, reflecting our commitment to chronicle this president and his administration with unmatched comprehensiveness and depth. Our aim, as it was during the Biden presidency and during every administration, is to hold power to account; to illuminate for our readers who is wielding influence and why; and to explore and explain administration policies and how they shape the lives of people across America and around the world.
“Together, the team brings an extraordinary array of expertise in areas such as foreign policy, national security, technology, economics, health care and, of course, politics.”
The White House reporters are Jacqueline Alemany, Natalie Allison, Isaac Arnsdorf, Michael Birnbaum, Dan Diamond, Cleve R. Wootson Jr., Matt Viser and Cat Zakrzewski.
