Adam Longo, an anchor/reporter at WUSA in D.C., is leaving the station. Sources tell FTVLive that Longo is crossing the street to WJLA. FTVLive states that it heard he will become the morning anchor at WJLA, taking the position of Robert Burton, who left “to sell stuff on social media.”  Longo’s demo reel is below

Longo, a graduate of the University of Maryland, has worked as a reporter and anchor at television stations in Virginia, Tennessee, Florida and Arizona.  In addition, he is an adjunct lecturer at the University of Maryland, where he teaches broadcast writing and reporting to aspiring journalists.

FTVLive also reports that it heard that WUSA anchor/reporter Delia Goncalves is also getting out at the Tegna station. Goncalves is said to be leaving for a comms job outside of TV news.
