Van Eperen announced that Hillarie Turner has joined the agency as vice president.
Turner will provide senior-level counsel for the agency’s health and science clients and play an integral role in business development, marketing and staff mentoring.

Turner is a seasoned professional with more than 15 years specializing in health and scientific communications. She comes to Van Eperen from Spectrum where she provided strategic oversight and counsel spanning a variety of therapeutic areas, including neuroscience, diabetes and oncology. Turner has managed communications for a range of large national and international consumer health care and life sciences clients, including corporations, associations, nonprofits and advocacy organizations.

Turner has also worked in-house at the American Psychiatric Association and the American Chemical Society, spearheading public awareness campaigns, strategic communications planning and large-scale national meeting press operations.
Turner received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Elon University. She served as president of Washington Women in Public Relations for two years.
