Washington Business Journal Editor-in-Chief Vandana Sinha, an employee of the news organization for just shy of two decades, has accepted a regional editor position within the American City Business Journals chain, where she will support multiple local newsrooms in the area of content strategy, reports Washington Business Journal.

Alex Orfinger, the Washington Business Journal’s market president and publisher, described Sinha as having a “laser focus on what the business community needs to navigate these choppy economic waters,” adding that, under her leadership, the Washington Business Journal grew its paid readership by more than 20%.

Sinha, 46, was named editor-in-chief in Washington in July 2019 after serving three years as managing editor and five years as assistant managing editor, states WBJ.
