Newspapers Lift Paywalls for Weather Coverage Through Monday

by | Jan 22, 2016

Area news organizations, including The Washington Post, will lift paywalls on the web to provide readers unlimited access to weather coverage and important safety information through Monday.

Capital-Gazette Newspapers in Anne Arundel County and The Baltimore Sun both sent reminder emails to subscribers reminding them that digital replica editions are emailed daily, as delivery of print versions will likely be disrupted during the storm.

For non-subscribers, they posted the following: “Our online snowstorm coverage will be available to all readers: no registration or digital subscription is required,” according to the message posted on the Capital-Gazette and The Sun websites.
