Emma Winchurch-Beale joins The Washington Post as the international sales director based in London. She will oversee The Post’s global sales strategy, managing international clients and agencies for The Post’s print and digital business as well as leading the global sales team.

According to a Post post:

“The Washington Post’s international readership is a critical part of our long-term strategy for success, and as a company we continue to invest in ways to grow this audience even more. Emma’s knowledge and experience will ensure The Post remains top of mind for clients across the world, positioning us as the leading publisher for brands looking to connect with our sophisticated global audience,” said Jed Hartman, chief revenue officer at The Post.

Winchurch-Beale brings a deep background in global sales to her new role at The Post. Previously, she served as publisher for Bloomberg Media’s Bloomberg Pursuits luxury lifestyle magazine, a publication she helped launch, and client sales director at Bloomberg LP where she managed client and regional sales teams across Europe, Middle East, and Asia. Prior to Bloomberg, Winchurch-Beale worked at The Economist where she launched and grew the publication’s award-winning lifestyle and culture magazine, Intelligent Life.

She begins her new position on September 5.
