The Washington Post reports that it ranked “among the top 10 podcast publishers in May 2017, according to newly released data by Podtrac, a leader in podcast measurement. The data shows that The Post made more than double-digit gains in listenership from April to May. More than one million people downloaded or streamed Post podcasts last month.
““I’m thrilled with how fast our listener base is growing, especially given the short time we’ve been in this space” said Jessica Stahl, Editor of Podcasts and Audience Engagement. “Making this list further illustrates that growth and gives us yet another encouraging sign as we continue to develop more podcasts this year.”
The Post has several podcasts including “Can He Do That?” , “Cape Up,” “Other,” and “Presidential.” A new podcast, “Constitutional,” a follow-up to “Presidential,” will release in the summer.”
