Washington Post to be Exclusive News Provider for Amtrak Trains
The Washington Post announced that it’s the exclusive news provider for Amtrak trains including Acela Express, Northeast Regional, and all other train services that operate on the Northeast Corridor as well as all Midwest trains; and customers will have unlimited digital access to The Post’s national news coverage, political analysis, in-depth enterprise reporting, and more while on board.
“People want to be informed in a way that is convenient for them, so we’re always thinking about the best platforms to reach new readers where they are,” said Leili Boroumand, head of business development and partnerships for The Post. “As Amtrak’s sole news partner, we’re thrilled that even more riders can engage with timely and relevant content from The Post while they are traveling.”
When on WiFi-enabled trains traveling on both the Northeast Corridor and in the Midwest, readers can easily catch up on the latest breaking news, interact with graphics and view captivating photography, said The Post.
