Washington Post to launch personal finance podcast on October 13

The Washington Post is launching a podcast to help listeners navigate personal finance decisions through real-life conversations and expert guidance, states a post on Podcasting Today.

According to the post, “Dollars & Sense with Michelle Singletary features one-on-one interviews that focus on individual financial situations, covering topics such as debt, spending habits, and retirement.

“Michelle Singletary, a US nationally syndicated personal finance columnist and author, leads each episode by talking with everyday people, experts, and public figures about the choices that shape their financial lives.”

The show’s approach, continues Podcasting Today, “is to reduce the anxiety often associated with money management by providing clear, relatable advice and insights.

“Michelle’s decades of experience in personal finance are evident as she guides guests through the questions that keep them up at night, aiming to make financial decisions less daunting.

“As Michelle explains, the podcast is about more than just numbers: “Financial decisions are rarely just about the money. And when life and money collide, it can be hard to make sense of either.”

“The series promises to get to the heart of financial choices and help listeners make sense of their own situations, one conversation at a time.”
