A WTTG-TV producer was the victim of a carjacking after arriving for work early last Wednesday morning at the Washington, D.C. Fox-owned station.
The station said Montgomery County Police are searching for a suspect. The unnamed WTTG employee was unhurt in the carjacking.
According to TVSpy, around 12:11 a.m., the suspect approached the victim, displayed a handgun and forced open the employee’s door, according to police. The suspect began shouting at her to get out of her 2018 Hyundai Tucson. He then took her car and her wallet.
According to the victim, the suspect spent $80 on her bank account at a gas station in D.C. at some point after the incident.
