WWPR Women of the Year celebrate sisterhood

Some of the brightest stars in D.C. PR came together at the Washington Women in Public Relations (WWPR) annual gathering of women who have been honored as WWPR’s Woman of the Year, along with those who have served as president of the organization. They gathered at the National Press Club on April 11, celebrating their history together and deepening connections.
Current WWPR president Chelsea Echavarria said, “This is about sisterhood. We celebrate the contributions of the women who have served the PR community as WWPR presidents, and the strong leaders who show up in major ways professionally and personally to advance our profession.”
WWPR Woman of the Year is the organization’s top honor, established in 1990, celebrating trailblazers in the communications field who have supported the success of other women and the profession. For more on the history of WWPR and its Woman of the Year honorees: https://wwpr.org/history/
