Yes& Agency wins Grand MX Campaign of the Year at AMA Baltimore’s 40th Annual MX Awards

Yes& Agency won the Grand MX Campaign of the Year at the American Marketing Association Baltimore Chapter‘s  (AMA Baltimore) 40th Annual MX Awards on October 8 at The Winslow | Baltimore.

Now in its 40th year, the MX Awards have long celebrated marketing campaigns that break through creatively, visually, and strategically. This year’s theme, “4Oh!,” marked four decades of honoring campaigns that leave a lasting impact. Entries were judged by a distinguished panel of marketing, advertising, PR, digital, and creative leaders, ensuring that awards reflect the highest standards of marketing excellence.

Top Honors

The Grand MX Campaign of the year went to the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) (Agency: Yes& Agency), for its integrated marketing campaign for the 2025 BIO International Convention, built around the theme “The World Can’t Wait.” This omnichannel, data-driven effort delivered over 65 million impressions, a 69% increase in web traffic, and 2,000 additional registrations, marking the second-highest attendance in the event’s history. The campaign leveraged research, strategy, creative and paid media to energize global audiences and drive results.

The Runner-Up Campaign of the Year went to The Village Learning Place (Agency: LR Strategy) for its event marketing campaign around the Read Between the Wines 2025 fundraising event. With limited resources and just three months to relaunch its biggest annual event, The Village Learning Place partnered with LR Strategy to execute an exceptional event marketing campaign. The campaign successfully reintroduced the organization’s signature fundraiser and surpassed every goal. Led by a two-person marketing team, the event sold out with 105 tickets, added 40 new donors, and raised $39,422 —– 31.4% above goal and a 192% increase from the previous event. The campaign also attracted national and local sponsor interest, earned press coverage from major Baltimore outlets, and received overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees, donors, and community partners.

The 2nd Runner-Up Campaign of the Year went to the National Park Service, Shenandoah National Park (Agency: A&T Integrated) for its interactive microsite exploring the history of Lewis Mountain, a once-segregated site in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. Combining archival imagery, oral histories, video, and interactive activities, the fully accessible experience met WCAG 2.2 standards and earned high praise for redefining historical learning through a human-centered, empathetic approach. With innovative features such as the “Virtual Road Trip” and firsthand audio accounts from families who lived this history, the project brings America’s past to life in a way that is both engaging and deeply meaningful for all audiences.
