Agency promotes 15-year company executive to lead the organization into the future
Yes& announced the appointment of Josh Golden as President and Chief Creative Officer. Golden, an experienced executive and creative director, has devoted more than 15 years of his career to Yes&, states the agency, which is based in Alexandria, VA.
Robert W. Sprague will take the title of Founder & CEO, while Jeb Brown will continue as Chairman & Chief Operating Officer. According to the agency, naming Golden as President “is the first step in developing a succession plan at Yes& and indicates that the agency is progressing to a next generation of leadership that is well poised to guide the agency through changes in the industry.”
“This change recognizes the immense contributions Josh has made to the evolution and growth of our agency,” said Sprague. “It also demonstrates our continuing commitment to the creative disciplines that provide clients with the big ideas they need. He is an embodiment of the Yes& ‘positivity + possibility’ philosophy and universally respected by the team and clients.”
“I’m proud of what we’ve been able to create at Yes& based on the big idea of approaching challenges with positivity,” said Golden. “I love living in that uncomfortable but exhilarating space of not knowing the answer and trusting that on the other side of the collaboration, we will discover something remarkable. I’m so excited to see where we can go.”
As Senior Vice President and Senior Creative Director at Yes&, Golden provided key strategic and creative counsel for clients like the U.S. Mint, Sentara Healthcare and FEMA’s National Flood Insurance Program. Before joining Yes&, his career included time as an actor, writer, director, educator, historian and sports marketer. He led creative for two Major League Baseball teams – the New York Mets and the Washington Nationals – where, as an inaugural team member, his legacy lives on in four larger-than-life racing presidents. Those experiences, states the agency, developed Golden into a strong creative strategist and collaborative leader who is poised to guide the continued growth and expansion at Yes&.
Yes& is a Capitol Communicator sponsor.
