From Patrick Rafferty, Partner, RaffertyWeiss Media
In 2022 we will continue to see the need for more hybrid video production services for our live event clients. We have been producing a variety of live streaming events (meetings, gala’s, fundraisers, etc.) with a partial audience in attendance and others watching it remotely.
In terms of the social media realm, we will continue to help our clients reach their audiences effectively through the use of influencers or accounts with an already large following. Rather than starting a profile from scratch and trying to gain a following, having someone with a large following promote your product/service can reach more people.
Also, we will continue to see the need to produce video content not only for the mainstream platforms (Cable/TV, websites, YouTube) but also for TikTok, Twitter and Instagram.
The pandemic has definitely increased the need for e-Learning projects and explainer videos (mostly animations) for our client base and we don’t see that slowing down any time soon.

From Laura Taylor, CEO, Silverline:
When I founded the first woman-owned cleantech PR agency nearly 15 years ago, the cleantech landscape .. and our climate .. looked very different. Climate changes are causing real impact and an urgent need to fund innovation. We’ve reached a turning point: the clean energy transition is now. Investment in cleantech companies more than doubled from 2020 to 2021. Fourteen cents of every venture capital dollar now goes to climate tech, and that number will continue to increase this year. Incredible companies are leading this push for global sustainability, and we’re honored to help them tell their amazing stories.
