At Crosby Marketing Communications in Annapolis, Gillian Pommerehn, shown above, has been promoted to vice president, public relations and reputation management. As vice president, Pommerehn expands her role as Crosby’s chief public relations strategist, working with a range of federal agencies, health-care organizations and social advocacy groups. Leading the agency’s team of PR professionals, she now oversees the strategic planning and execution of complex public affairs, media relations and reputation management initiatives for Crosby’s clients, including Kaiser Permanente, DAV, the USDA, Social Security Administration, the Department of Health and Human Services’ Health and Resources Services Administration and Greenberg Gibbons. Prior to joining Crosby in 2007 as the agency’s director of public relations, she served as vice president with Stanton Communications in Baltimore.
Also at Crosby, which is a Capitol Communicator sponsor, Katy Leuschner has joined as an associate integration manager. Leuschner will provide client service support on Crosby’s work with Kaiser Permanente and Saint Agnes Hospital. She comes to Crosby from MOS Creative in Baltimore where she served as a project manager/copywriter. And, Florence Pique-Monnier joins Crosby as an integration supervisor. Pique-Monnier will manage multi-faceted communications programs for clients including ACTS Retirement-Life Communities, one of America’s largest non-profit owners and managers of retirement-life communities. Prior to joining Crosby, she served as an account supervisor for Ogilvy & Mather in Los Angeles.
Profiles, Inc., announced the promotion of Lindsay Jordan to senior account manager. Prior to joining Baltimore-based Profiles in 2012, Jordan worked in Burson-Marsteller’s San Francisco office as a client staff assistant supporting the firms Technology Practice. Also at Profiles, Marnie Baddock joins as junior account executive, and Annie Truax joins as an account executive. Most recently, Truax managed the community outreach, event planning and public relations efforts for REV Cycle Studio, a Baltimore-based indoor cycling studio.
