Amazon Welcomes PRSA National Capital Chapter to Arlington HQ2

Amazon hosted PRSA National Capital Chapter members at its new Arlington, Va., headquarters on October 6.

Amazon recently became a Diamond Sponsor supporting the chapter, putting a spotlight on the growing, dynamic community of public relations professionals in the D.C. area. Attendees ran the gamut from graphics designers to media mavens and strategists.

Kristie Cunningham, Vice President of AWS Global Communications, welcomed the 50 attendees, including PRSA CEO Linda Brooks, who was in town from New York, and Robert Krueger, the National Capital Chapter President. Attendees including Amazon communications staff, NCC board members, committee chairs, new and veteran members, APRs and candidates, enjoyed the 13^th floor view overlooking Reagan Washington National Airport and the Potomac River. After 30 months of virtual gatherings due to the COVID pandemic, it was a wonderful way for the chapter to start the fall season.
