The Richmond Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America installed its officers and board of directors for 2015. The officers include Rachel Beanland, APR, as President; Andrew Ryan, APR, as President-Elect; Judi Crenshaw, APR as 1st Vice President for Programs; Cameron McPherson as 2nd Vice President for Awards; Jennifer Guild as 3rd Vice President for Membership; Catherine Gryp as Treasurer, and Windy Campbell as Secretary.
Bon Secours Virginia Health System launched the first elements of its new statewide brand campaign that is designed to emphasize the health system’s focus on patients and their commitment to the communities they serve throughout Virginia with their eight hospitals, primary and specialty-care practices, ambulatory care and continuing care facilities. The campaign launch in the Richmond market, where the health system has five hospitals, included advertisements on TV, outdoor billboards, print display ads, airport signage, digital advertising, social media and public relations. In the Hampton Roads market, where Bon Secours has three hospitals, the campaign is anticipated to launch in the coming months. Free Agents Marketing, with offices in Richmond and Hampton Roads, produced the campaign.
Richmond-based Spurrier Media Group (SMG), one of the largest independent strategic media agencies in the Mid-Atlantic region, has been hired by RMA of Philadelphia, RMA at Jefferson, and RMA of Central Pennsylvania at Pinnacle Health–a group of world-class fertility clinics in Pennsylvania–to direct and manage their media strategy and awareness campaigns. SMG will be collaborating with Philadelphia’s HLG Health Communications on the campaign. And, SMG also added n1Health, a network of membership-based medical practices that empower patients to restore, protect and grow their health.
