TBC is Baltimore’s largest ad agency with 95 full-time employees, according to Baltimore Business Journal’s annual ranking published in this week’s issue. Following TBC are GKV (91 employees); R2integrated (79); MGH (78) and Planit, reporting 77 local staff. TBC’s clients include Haribo Gold Bears, MinuteClinic, Hair Cuttery, Visit Baltimore, Lincoln Financial and Penn National Gaming. Rounding out the top-10 largest area firms are: ADG Creative, Imre, Jellyfish, Crosby and Marriner Marketing Communications. In a separate listing of web design firms, based on revenue, the top five are: Canton Group, R2integrated, TBC, Planit and Exceptional Software Strategies, Inc.
Baltimore-based Advertising.com, the online ad business of AOL, will relocate its headquarters to a different part of Baltimore, according to reports in The Sun and Baltimore Business Journal. The company, located in the city’s Tide Point area, signed a long-term lease to move to Brewer’s Hill, most likely by next spring. It will occupy about 45,000 square feet – approximately 15,000 smaller than its current space – at 3700 O’Donnell St., according to the reports.
Piccirilli Dorsey, a Bel Air, Md.-based digital creative agency, announced that Kristi Frisch joined as senior project manager. She joins from Fallston Group where she was client services manager. Frisch also serves on the board of directors of Maggie’s Light Foundation, a nonprofit that supports families caring for children with developmental disabilities and special needs.
