Serving more than 1,000 clients and their families each year, the Baltimore-based private non-profit offers education, mental health, and therapeutic residential services. The organization’s $44 million annual budget provides programs that enrich communities, one family at a time.

“We know that now, more than ever, we need strong branding and messaging that connects all of our many programs and services to our mission and audiences,” said Kristian Sekse, BCC chief operating officer. “We’re looking forward to teaming with C-360 to develop communications that resonates with our donors, referral sources, clients, employees and prospective employees.”

C-360, a Capitol Communicator sponsor, will provide a range of services, including design, social media development and management, website updates, copywriting, digital marketing strategy, and external communications to support BCC’s mission.

Capitol Communicator's 2022 predictions for the communications industry includes insights from C-360 agency leader Michael DeMos.

“Our team is inspired by the compelling and comprehensive work of BCC and we are proud to partner with them to amplify their messaging and brand awareness,” said C-360 CEO Michael DeMos.

DeMos said the agency is also helping BCC with strategy for employee recruitment, including development of videos, messaging and outreach.

The Board of Child Care has a long history of serving children and families in the community.  The organization began as three United Methodist orphanages that opened in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, which later merged in 1960 to become the Board of Child Care.

Today, the Board of Child Care’s $44 million annual budget provides programs that enrich communities, one family at a time.  Serving over 1,000 unique clients and their families each year BCC offers residential treatment, mental health, special and early learning educational programs, and community-based services throughout the Mid-Atlantic.  To see a map of all program locations and descriptions of each BCC program, visit boardofchildcare.org.
