Brand USA Seeks Agency to Guide Global Media Relations

Brand USA, the D.C.-based, large-scale, public-private partnership promoting travel and tourism to the United States, is looking for an agency to guide global media relations in the face of declining international travel, reports O’Dwyer’s.

O’Dwyer’s added that the organization released an RFP, with responses due today, for domestic and international media relations “to pitch the US as a destination and make the business case for travel’s positive impact on the economy at various levels.”

According to Brand USA, the U.S. share of the international travel market has decreases over the past decade to about 60 million visitors in 2010, continued the O’Dwyer’s report.
