A call for entries has been issued for the 2016 American Advertising Awards competition.
Formerly known as the ADDYs, the competition is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition. The mission of the American Advertising Awards program is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising.
Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the DC Ad Club competition is the first of a three-tier, national competition. Concurrently, all across the country, local entrants vie to win ADDY Awards in their area. At the second tier, local ADDY winners compete against winners from other clubs in one of 15 district competitions. District ADDY winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the national competition.
Entry in the American Advertising Awards – DC is the first step toward winning a national ADDY.
Entries received before December 18 save $10 off the cost of each entry. All entries to the competition are due by January 8, 2016. DC Ad Club members receive a discounted rate.
