Carousel30 will be providing pro bono branding and marketing services to the Trust for the George Washington Memorial Parkway. A partner to the National Park Service, the organization’s mission is to preserve the parks and memorials, enhance the visitor experience, and build a community dedicated to conserving the George Washington Memorial Parkway memorials and parks for future generations.
Carousel30 has created the brand and website for the Trust for the George Washington Memorial Parkway and will continue to offer strategic marketing services as part of this partnership intended to grow the organization’s awareness and effectiveness as it seeks a larger audience.
“We are thrilled to form this partnership with the Trust for the George Washington Memorial Parkway. It is an organization that aligns with values and ideas that are important to this agency,” said Greg Kihlström, founder and CEO of Carousel30. “Connecting people with the things they love such as nature, recreation and history is something that Carousel30 has been doing for the last 12 years for many types and sizes of organizations. We’re excited to be able to use our expertise to assist in the growth and mission of this great organization.”
Mari Lou Livingood, president and founder of the Trust for the George Washington Memorial Parkway, was instrumental in forming this partnership. “With Carousel30’s experience in creating and growing strong nonprofit brands, I am happy to announce this partnership, and look forward to working with them to help achieve our mission.”
Carousel30, a Capitol Communicator sponsor, has helped launch and build brands that have become successful organizations both in the nonprofit and corporate sectors. Most notably with the Trust for the National Mall, Carousel30’s work was instrumental in that organization’s growth and success. This work included creating a brand that attracted corporate partnerships with Volkswagen, Boeing, Coca-Cola and creating a grassroots mobile campaign with Comedy Central that raised $500,000 for the young organization in a 30-day period.
