Carousel30, a leading digital agency based in the Washington, D.C., region, announced that its CEO, Greg Kihlström, will be presenting at the 2016 Digital Summit DC on September 20 in Washington, D.C.

Digital Summit DC is a premier digital strategy forum that includes presentations on topics that are influential in the future of digital commerce including marketing, social media, analytics and more.

Kihlström will be presenting on the topic of website optimization at this year’s Digital Summit DC. Website design and development strategy is an integral part of Carousel30’s core business, “An organization’s Web presence is a critical point of connection to their audiences. At Carousel30 we work with organizations to ensure that this important channel is optimized and achieves its goals.”

The presentation will focus on the importance of adopting an agile marketing approach to maintaining and optimizing your company’s website and why it can be more beneficial to update your website regularly than go through a full redesign. The presentation will also explore how we can improve the redesign process of the past to improve the return on investment your organization’s website provides.

Digital Summit DC, to be held at the Arena Stage in the Mead Center for American Theater, is one of the premier digital marketing events in the region, and features notable speakers from the top corporations and agencies. The Digital Summit series occurs annually across the country in 12 major cities per year. Presented by TechMedia, it brings together the marketing and communications community in the D.C. metro region to learn and discuss the latest trends in the industry.

Greg Kihlström

Greg is an award-winning digital strategist, creative director, author and speaker. He is currently SVP Digital at Yes& (a Capitol Communicator Sponsor) as of Fall 2017 when Carousel30, the agency he founded, was acquired. He has worked with brands such as AARP, AOL, Booz Allen Hamilton, Choice Hotels, GEICO, Howard University, Marriott, MTV, The Nature Conservancy, Porsche, Toyota, United Nations and others. His work has won awards from the ADDYs, Webbys and others, been featured in books by HarperCollins and Rockport Press, publications such as Advertising Age, Communication Arts, Web Designer and Website magazine. He currently serve as VP of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) District 2, and as a Board Member of the Virginia Tech Pamplin College of Business Marketing Industry Mentoring Board (MIMB). He is Past President of AAF DC, and served on the National Board of AAF, Board of Trustees of the Trust for the George Washington Memorial Parkway, the Board of AIGA DC, and the Trust for the National Mall's National Advisory Board.
