by | Sep 23, 2014

Comedy Central teased the 18th season of South Park, which premieres Wednesday, with a one-minute commercial during the fourth quarter of Sunday’s Redskins-Eagles game, reported Scott Allen in The Washington Post. The spot, wrote Allen, parodied the Redskins name controversy with Daniel Snyder, Robert Griffin III and Jay Gruden demanding that “Mr. Cartman” stop referring to his company as The Washington Redskins.

The spot has been viewed about 1.5 million times.
