by | Jun 23, 2015

Stratacomm LLC hired Kristin Ford-Glencross as an account director in the company’s D.C. office. Kristin joined Stratacomm to oversee integrated communication planning and strategies for a number of the firm’s transportation and energy clients. Prior to starting with Stratacomm, she served as a senior project manager at Direct Impact, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Burson-Marsteller. With an extensive knowledge of automotive safety and regulatory issues, she has worked alongside a number of key industry stakeholders including NHTSA, GHSA, AAA and countless state DOTs and DMVs. During her time at Direct Impact, she led grassroots campaigns for clients like Ford’s Driving Skills for Life, American Automotive Policy Council, U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Microsoft and Texas Health Resources.

August, Lang & Husak (AL&H) hired Neil A. Levy to the new position of vice president, business development & strategic planning at the Bethesda-based advertising and marketing firm. Levy will spearhead the agency’s new business efforts and lead the team in developing marketing communications strategies for new and existing clients.  Levy, stated a release, has 40 years of senior management and management consulting experience. He has served as president of Telex Communication’s Hearing Aid Strategic Business Unit, president of Doubleday and Scribner’s Book Shops (a division of Barnes & Noble), EVP of Eye Care Centers of America (a division of Sears, Roebuck and Company), and vice president of marketing for Genesco’s Retail and Wholesale Footwear divisions.
